Look at the VIN. If it's a 2007MY, the 10th digit will be a '7'.
I am trying to determine what is the MY id of my D3. On the rego papers it's shown as a 2007. On the logbook paperwork it's just shown as a 2007 TDV6 HSE .. no MY identification notated. I'm not even sure if I need to know that when ordering parts.
Located under the drivers door is a plate with such things as approval no., category, GVM, seats, VIN, and the numbers 10/07 stamped. Near the bonnet catch in the engine bay another placard with the sign "Land Rover built : AUG 07.
Is it possible to determine what the MY is from this info ?
Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Mine had a plate near the bonnet latch that had those details.
There are VIN decoders on the web as well.
Correct, you have a MY08 D3 to same specs as the D3's built at the start of 2008.
From what I understand, the production line closes once a year for a re-fit,normally upgrades are timed here.
Production then continues,hence your 2007 build,2008 specs
Register for TOPIX and you can look your factory build sheet up.

Hey Steve,
When ordering parts ALWAYS have your full VIN.
It is a lot easier for the Parts Interpreters to get it right.
From MY 07 to MY 08 there are substantial changes.
Your vehicle IS a 08MY built(08/07) & complied(10/07).
Cheers
