    More expensive....like the axel shaft? Apparently that broke too, so i've been informed by the garage doing the repair work.

    Straight forward repair. Luckily nothing else damaged.

    I do personally think the drive shaft snapped during the beach recovery though. Half in half out of the hub.

    Interesting that there is a stronger CV out there. Might consider it once out of warranty.
