D3/D4 hyd jack adapter expression of interest

I'm picking mine up tomorrow too.. my old buddy :D :angel:....

Supplier didn't have one in stock this morning, but rang me this afternoon to say he had it for me...

The threaded height adjuster is a single piece (cannot remove the cap) and cannot be screwed completely out of the top of the jack, so adaptor will have to be a "slip over" fit.

Looked at mine this morning.The top is actually part of the screw shaft.
Adapter will need to fit over it and have a pin to stop it falling off.

Or you could machine a groove inside the bottom of the adaptor and use an internal circlip. :D

You could use something like jb weld and glue it on? Or drill and ream hole for a relevant sized hex head bolt.

Will leave the minor details to the engineer Brian,just got to talk him into coming down.
I think we are catching up with him in Perth next week.
