    Question DRIVING LIGHTS D3

    GDAY HAS ANYONE FITTED DRIVING LIGHTS TO THE D3
    DID YOU MAKE UP BRACKETS COMING OUT FROM BEHIND THE GRILL
    OR BOLT TO THE BUMPER
    JUST LOOKING FOR IDEAS

    There was a thread on this some time back.Somebody posted on their behind the grille bracket.It looked easy enough to make.
    I dont recall who,perhaps somebody else can remember.
    Im with AnDRew,I bought a hunk of steel to put mine on,Im in a rural area and we have lots of stray livestock,roos,pigs and emus on the highway.

    Not what I'd recommend, especially for the Green / Damp environment you are in...

    Colour Rendering is very important in a driving light...

    HIDs fail at this... LEDs fail at this...

    I reckon from Tombie's signature and his previous posts that you are likely to be advised that Fyrlyt Nemesis will be the way to go. And I agree with him, even before he says it.

    They are bright, halogen 250 watt lights with excellent colour. They perform better than much more expensive lights.

    I am very happy with mine and they get used nearly every evening at this time of year. The roos around my place are now wearing dark glasses at night.
