    PLUG FOR DISCO 3

As I understand it, you only need it to be on one indicator circuit to function. But if put on both circuits you'll get the dash indication symbol for both left and right (flashing trailer symbol), which is nice but not essential.

I do need to make or get one, it's also my curiosity of what the system is looking for and how it works. I was one of those kids that asked way to many questions as a kid and at 36 still probably ask too many.

Simply the system is looking for the resistance of a 21w halogen bulb

I got the linear electronics module hard wired and mounted permanently so I didn't have to keep swapping it over for different trailers.
Problem is now it thinks there is a trailer attached all the time so the little green symbol comes on when I indicate and the reversing sensors don't work.
The auto electrician says that's normal because I had it hard wired so have to live with it.
    Anyone else had this issue?
    Cheers

I would have thought an auto sparky would be smart enough to be able to instal a switch and relays so it can by bypassed when not required

I got a switch installed in mine. So I just turn it on if I have a trailer with led lights. The guy sounds like he's lazy and couldn't have been bothered! Other wise now your car thinks it has a trailer permanently attached.
I got mine installed by this company.

    Hi guys,

The Linear Electronics module can be easily installed permanently. I am far from being competent in anything electrical but didn't have an issue installing this (and a Traxide setup) in my MY14 with rear air.

    Cheers,
    RickO
