    Dumb question 1. Headrests

    Hi,
Do the headrests in the D3 TDV6 come out? If so how?

There may be a tab to push in on one side, other than that a good tug should get them out. Works on a D4

I assume you mean the middle row of seats.

Push in the tab on the driver's side of the vehicle which will allow them to be extended to full height. Then push the tab on the passenger side of the head rest and they should remove.

My front seat head rests are under seat covers so I didn't look at them.
    Cheers, Dale

If you have the headrest with the grab handles on the sides, then
    they do not adjust.

    It's a D3 thing.

Sorry, yes I meant the middle row. They are leather and there are no tabs, they just move up with a good tug. But they do not come out?

On my D4 the black plastic ring attached to the seat has a "hidden tab" that you have to push in with a screwdriver...maybe look closely on yours?

    Ooops, that hidden tab.
Thank you all for your patience, I was discussing it with SWMBO who said "what those tabs there? No arguments this time, you're getting your eyes tested. You need glasses."

I guess this proves her point...

Not sure if D3 is different but in this photo of my D4 you can just make out a push-in tab.
But there is also another almost hidden second push-in tab on opposite side, as mentioned by SimmAus.
You can see I have taken the middle one out.
