Bought the car and the previous owner kept referring to it as 'Dusty'. Very appropriate for a lazy person like me 🤣
I've never given cars names, they're just transport and money pits to me. The Deafener though was known by others (Cook and daughter) as Bugly (bloody ugly) Pugly (pretty ugly) or Fugly (work that one out yourself) occasionally by me.

Not really, but that's about how I think of her![]()
My D2 was called "Fuzzy" & my D3 is called "Ticky", both a play on the letters in the number plate.
Its white, and before we put bull bar, roof racks and rear wheel carrier, it was obvious that it looked like, well, a fridge laying on its back.
So, its 'the Fridge'.
I keep saying I'm taking 'The D-Fa' for a spin, but the wife and I laugh about personal plates '8675309', in which case I suppose the Deefa will be a she, called Jenny. (the eighties hit by Tommy Tutone). I think De-Fa will stay though as I want either 'D4CNOZ' or No. 1 at the moment, 'D4RWIN' plates.
Cheers, Mungus.

"George', because I lost the arguments about naming our boys. Plus, it's a good British name.
Mine is just the truck. Only the Jags have names.
My girl friend (now wife) said that all cars needed to have names, she had and still has a Defender 90 she calls Percy.
My list thus far is:
Paul - Rav4 (sold long ago)
Red - Disco 1 (he is blue btw)
Bing Bong - Disco 2 (always chimes when poput key in the ignition)
Barry - Rover 220 (my daily run about)
I also drove my dads Suzuki Escudo for about a year and I named that Crap heap, that thing wasn't built for speed or comfort!
It was slow, thirsty, uncomfortable, rattly, terrible road noise and the AC was broken.
Also had a Kawaski KLR 650 called Keith
and have a a Suzuki RF900 called Benny (based on the number plate).
Wifes family have named almost all of their cars, as follows:
Bubble - Toyota Yaris/echo (bubble shaped)
Rubble - a Red Toyota Yaris/Echo
Whippy - Disco 1 (apparently looks like an ice cream truck)
Larry - Disco 1 (previous owners name for it)
Buzz - RRC
Best - RRC (brother in laws best condition RRC as he had 3 or 4 at one stage)
The bone shaker - Series 3 lightweight
Colonel Mustard - Suffix A RRC (wifes name for it)
There are a few unnamed Landys also.
