Unless things have changed a lot I wouldn't bother with the land rover navigation system, on my 2011 d4 the navigation doesn't show roads that were completed in 2007.
Not to mention that it nearly always takes you the long way around and costs a fortune to get out of date updates. The other annoying thing is that it doesn't show side street names in most cases, even when zoomed all the way in.

Mine is my15 hse - hdd nav that can be updated via the usb connection
My MY13 can also be updated via USB, and you can also add POI (such as safety cameras).
Surprisingly had quite a few dirt tracks as well (Bendethera was well mapped).
Mine is Jan build; can't recall who does the Australian maps for LR, but they have a specific landing page to buy the LR map update. From memory, there has only been one update when I checked last year, so have not bothered.
As for POI, just get the POIs and upload via USB.
