Ive done a lot of off-roading around Wedge,mainly in a 2a 88",Horrocks was some of the softest sand Ive driven in.Having a new vehicle makes it so hard to compare.My D2 didnt struggle around Wedge,I realise weather conditions change so comparisons are very hard.Aaron made the same comments about his D2,Aaron surfs Lancelin to Wedge.Im going to take HIS D4 for a thrash whilst he catches a quick wave.Back to taking yours Aaron,no rack to put the board on mine:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

We were up there over New Year. Up behind the main dune it was so soft I sank to just below my knee when I went for a walk. A Patrol on 35's was sunk to the axles and wasn't recoverable. They went to get help just before we got there.

Great thing about the 4 is that the seats fold flat, even my long boards will fit in the back of yours.... need Gordons wheels, than all will be right.... priced up bfg KO2's 265/65 r18 today, they look great for sand....:cool:

Seeing as I have just moved to Brisbane I think I will have to bring the D3 to Fraser in April. Maybe I will have a D4 by then.

They wont.Remember I have removed my 3rd row seats,and a 80lt Engel lives back there;);););););)

The Fraser Island event has been moved to the weekend of 16th/17th April. I've edited the first post to reflect the change.
