I could be wrong but i believe you won't even have to do a hard reset to clear this particular issue, in case you have not cleared it previously all you have to do is stick the correct fuel in it via that capped tube behind the square panel which is located behind the drivers side passenger door and it magically goes away and you can keep driving it.

A warning though, it will come back on in the future but if you keep repeating the process of refuelling then you shouldn't have any issues.

Good luck, I know these warning lights when they come on can be scary if your not sure what to do. ...
    Cheers,
    Terry

I suspect that even water will fix it, perhaps even permanently or at least for a longer time.

    Just keep driving.
When it stops, let us know what the "distance to empty" reads.
Will give the rest of us some comfort as to how far we can go in similar circumstances.

In a previous vehicle, a BMW, DTE showed minus 15 km before I found a servo.

At the time ave consumption was indicated at 8.8l/100km - with a dte of 37 there should be 3.25L to empty. It took exactly 71L to fill. Tank is rumoured to be 82L so 82 - 74.25 - almost 8 L safety margin in tank ?

Is there a full moon or something?
There seem to be several whacko threads on the forum.

Use the LR navigation system to take you to the nearest fuel station on the POI. We will then know exactly how much fuel it takes to fill the tank after it stops.

Has anyone ever done this and then filled the tank?
