    Diff-lock campaign?

Uneek is asking for expressions of interest in its locker range still under development. Perhaps if every D4 owner in Australia said they were interested, it might be enough to convince them???

I can't see the need nor the market. I had a D3 without diff lock and it went everywhere. I had a D4 with eDiff and it did the same. I now have a SDV6 without and it still does everything I need (as long as I hit the DSC button!!!!!!!!!!!).

I would think putting locking diffs in is going to mess with the traction control systems and you'll end up worse off. Stuart - you do understand the terrain response system mimics diff locking but even better in that it is infinitely variable not just open or locked. Try changing to rock crawl see how it performs

I wasn't really looking for a bunch of people to vote /against/ an aftermarket product being developed for the D4 but thanks for the help, brother!
I didn't want to really get in to a debate either but surely all the traction control knows is that wheels aren't spinning so it doesn't need to do anything?
I can't see much on the forum saying the traction control isn't brilliant, just that the ediff does it easier.
FWIW yeah Rock Crawl tightens up the diff nicely but the lack of throttle response drives me nuts! Especially when all you want to do is maintain momentum transversing ruts etc.

ARB already does one and as far as I am aware no one from this forum has put one in, which probably means no one feels a real need for one and people here don't mind modding their cars.

Didn't they stop making the D4 ones because of some breaking problems?
