I've heard that getting the centre diff lock engaged can be a little tricky, though.

The mountain goat advertising campaign would need to go something like this:

Why ride any old 4x4- step away from the herd and buy an offroad mountain goat truly capable of expressing your own free will. The kids will love it.

You've obviously not seen a goat stand upright to feed on tree leaves but occasionally get hung-up doing so. D4s go into super extended mode after having got themselves hung-up.

If you get two goat's keep them separated, otherwise you will end up like a Series owner, with lots of projects started, none finished, annoying the neighbours.
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.
