I find the e-diff is used by the traction control a lot in my off-road use, and I certainly notice the difference, in that the brakes are used a lot less than without to stop wheel spin. So yes, I'm happy I ordered it with.

As for the DAB radio, I use it all the time. It's so much clearer compared to FM, it's like comparing FM to AM.

There is a great bonus on Feb though so it is a very good time to buy one. Good luck with the hunting. The seats get better the longer you are in them so keep that in mind when you sit in them.

Just for the record, blind spot monitoring is disabled (as is reversing sensors, etc.) when the D4 recognizes a trailer.

Dave, if you and your wife share a lot of driving then seriously consider memory seats - unless she is also 6'2". The electric seats have a few more adjustments you can do with them so it can be annoying adjusting back after someone else has been driving. Also gives you auto dipping mirrors in reverse which I like. I don't have it on my new car and really miss it.

Regarding rear air, personally I think it is a must if you ever intend to have all the seats used.

Electric captains chairs are one of the best things you can have in your Disco. They really improve the driving and comfort experience.

My short preferred list of both standard and options in any Disco if I was buying new would be, rear air, captains chairs, upgraded top of line stereo, adaptive bi xenon headlights, centre consol fridge and e diff, these features both our D3 and D4 have.

It's easy though to get carried away and start ticking options lists. The V8 D4 also comes with every option LR offer including not only what's listed above but TV and DVD player, surround camera's, sun roofs, heated seats and screen, folding mirrors, keyless entry and lots of other stuff I can't remember and while nice to have hardly ever get used and personally I wouldn't waste my money on them if buying new.

Don't think they do, when I broke mine, there was only one replacement axle, no mention of an axle for the e-diff model, which I have in mine.

I would like the memory seats but can only get them in a HSE[emoji30]
Back in October there was a nice white HSE for sale privately (they were moving o/s so needed a quick sale) for the same price as the TDV6, 6m old, 9000ks only but we weren't in the position then to buy, the car was sold in 2 days[emoji24][emoji24]

Re the e-diff,
select the 4x4 function on the display when you are out off-roading and watch the e-diff lock come on and off, amazing technology.

I saw this one pop up. I was on the hunt for a White HSE with ediff at the time but wasn't quick enough. Someone got a very good buy.

Well F me!! So I took the SDV6 for a spin this morning and well....[emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]lol
So they have an SD in white with tech pack, no other options, or do I go the TD in
White, tech pack, rear air, DAB, meridian sound, xenons, blind spot and powerfold mirrors??
Price wise the SD is approx 3k more.
I guess by the time you compare the differences with the std items in the sd then I'm gaining rear air, dab, blind spot.
I found the sd seats extremely comfortable, but was more than happy and quite surprised with the TD seats. The arm rests are quite good too.
