If you want to stop the interior lights coming on every time a door is opened, you can turn auto mode off by holding down the centre switch for 5 secs until the lights flash.

I took Scott's recommendation here and found the 9 LED version for the cargo area light. After waiting for it to arrive from China I just got time to fit (and all the others). Fits nicely and light output is great.

Finally got the red LED map lights fitted following recommendations from a few people here.

Have to say both my wife and I are impressed. It's a nice light that is easy to read under, even though it doesn't initially look that way.
That's my little cheat sheet for Llams modes and if the resolution was as per original photo you'd be able to read it easily.


At first it seems weak and we were sceptical but it's actually a good light level that doesn't seem to impact night vision too much.

Also got the same 9 LED boot one as David the other day.
So that's all finished .... except for the logo puddle lights at some stage.

I initially tried these ones: 2 X T10 W5W 6 SMD 5050 Canbus Error Free CAR LED Interior Tail Side Light Bulb | eBay
They don't fit well and anyway, while the light seemed brighter, it was actually more difficult to read with, so not recommended.

However, these ones are good: T10 W5W 5050 SMD 8 LED RED 1 5W Cree Canbus Xenon Wedge Light Lamp Bulb DC 12V | eBay
They use Cree LEDs which seem to be better than the 5050 ones.

Thanks for the post on the 6x5630 ones. I ordered a pair to try at the beginning of June and they got here earlier in the week and I tried them out last night. One in the boot area (result exactly as per the photos in this thread), and one as a puddle light.

As a result I have now ordered another 2 pairs for the other puddle lights.

I doubt they will work in the front doors.
May be lucky with the extra emitters...
