These ones are from hids4u.co.uk and were relatively expensive.
But before that I had cheap eBay ones in the doors and they were ok too.
Shifted to the foot wells due to being a bit blue.
The eBay ones can be a bit hit-and-miss.

No, not wasted... Not wasted at all... The front Puddle lights are MOSFET controlled and need the extra current draw to function.Quote:

Thanks Dan. There appears to be puddle lamps for under the door/ under the wing mirrors. Which models have the under mirror lights as my tdv6 only has the under door puddle lamps? Is is a straight forward swap of the bulbs under the doors?Quote:

They'll be fine.
Just put one of the 6SMD 5650 globes in the drivers puddle lamp. Here's a photo of the new puddle lamp vs the cheap LED globes, which are already brighter than standard.
