Thanks #PerthDisco, I'll give it crack tomorrow and try and make a video or take shots while I do it for others.

I'm learning as I go here PerthDisco, so please forgive me if I've been totally daft here.

I've had a look this morning and there is a large plastic casing that's in the way of getting to the bolt, I was thinking I could put the Star bolt remover in and then use a spanner to turn it but there's not enough room from the casing to the bolt so wondering how you were able to remove the bolt without removing the plastic cover that's in the way? Did you just cut down the plastic cover is there some way to turn the bolt without using the star bit?

    Cheers

No you are right - it’s coming back to me - you have to remove that cover plate and it is an absolute nightmare to relocate the tangs and refit it. Again take plenty of pics and mental notes how it fits together.

I remember folding the seats into various positions to get best access to put this cover back on.

Mine was the passenger side rear. Particularly, tilting the seat forward but with the back rest at 45 degrees not locked down allowed some magic in the end.

Ok, don’t know how I missed this, but folding the seat up and away gives you easy access to the two screws holding the cover in place, simply move the chair into the fold upright position, unscrew the two screws, pull off the cover. Then remove the bolt holding the buckle in place and slowly remove bolt while holding the spring in place. Take note of the way the spring is in place and make sure you put back the same way.

Then it’s just a simple replace of the buckle, put the spring back in place and screw back in and some fiddling with the plastic cover to get that back in, screwing that back down and your done.

I’ll put images up when I’m at my computer. For some reason it won’t let you attach images when using your phone or I can’t find the spot where you can 😔
