Went out to the car to check what password I have to pair with. It didn't accept 2121, and I don't have a voice control button which I think means I have LR after market kit not the PTI.

Have A look at this thread (DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - bluetooth phone kit). it will give you an idea on what is required to retrofit factory Bluetooth. What stereo system do you have? Seems you need the 6 stacker CD version to get started. Wiggs is also very helpful in providing information.

Mine is factory d3 HSE and code was 0000

That’s it need to sort mine out. Pairs but drops out and then back on
