I also like the function - sometimes. It is great for backing the boat trailer into the water to watch the wheel position and depth, but a pest backing up our steep driveway. Can't have everything I suppose, but you can have a Land Rover :cool:

I like the function, I had it in a previous car.

If you have this option available you can access it from the Vehicle Set up menu shown in the instrument panel by pushing the right button on the steering wheel. Activating a function shown via a IIDTool or similar will not work if the option is not fitted.
I had a similar issue with drive away locking (my wife feels a lot safer with it) where it would not enable with the in dash menu - would self clear within a few seconds every time we tried to enable it, until it the CCF was changed to enable drive away locking. Then we just had to set it in the dash menu and it worked.Quote:

I believe you need memory seats to have reverse dipping mirrors. It's one of the things I miss from the D4.

My wife's previous XC70 had them and they were a PITA for parallel parking cos there was a delay in returning once back in a forward gear.
