D4 Tyre pressure for sand driving with 19"

When Aaron40 and I went to Horrocks Beach we were both down to 15psi and struggling,it was very dry and powdery.
They look shocking on hard ground at 15psi so be very careful if you come across anything hard,rocky or extreme cross slope.
Ive since driven on wet sand,highway pressure,one would wonder what the hell I was complaining about in Horrocks.If the sand is wet and firm,I would start at 25psi,its good insurance if you do come across the mentioned surfaces.

I think you need to go lower on soft sand than 15psi, air back up when you get to any limestone etc to protect your sidewall and rims... As Andrew said we started at 20psi and dug in at 15 psi it was still a struggle... :eek:
