This may cause you issues in a warranty situation. Only the older models have had the encryption successfully bypassed for software-only re-map.
To my knowledge this has not yet been achieved for the 3.0L models (Tombie will know this for sure).

I would not consider this until after warranty period and even then I really don't think I'd bother for an SDV6.
I'm not wanting to start an argument about warranty and consumer rights etc .... just point out something to consider.
I would not want the stress of the battle even if I'm in the right.
It would be difficult to argue that an unapproved engine software change has had no impact on the engine/drivetrain related failure or fault (if something happens).

    Cheers,
    Scott
I think the SDV6 is just as quick as a D3 V8 (Uses the half the fuel though)and I can drag off V6 Dunnydores. I think coming from a Defender you will be pleasantly surprised. (V8 sounds better though)

I don't think tyre centre is going to want the 19" rims and tyres, so there will be no rebate, Great (not)

So looks like it will be costly.

Do these rims and tyres sell on here? Maybe guys running stock sizes want spares or just another set?

Otherwise I'll just have to store them and put them back on if it ever has a warranty issue that could be linked to the bigger tyres. :$

Hi babs as you're in sydney you could probably stick them on gumtree or eBay use rims with half worn tyres are up for $500, so for 5 all new you should be able to ask a bit more.

Oh, and I'm looking forward to pics of the new family member

    Cheers

Make sure you get the fitting instructions emailed out, they make the fitting job oh so easy.
A heads up,run your UHF antenna, trailer brake and driving lights wiring at the same time, its a tight fit thru the firewall hole,so much easier to run them all together once
If you are going to run Fyrlyts get a wiring loom from Tim too
    ENJOY

While you're doing all the work running the wires, run an extra couple of metres of 7 core trailer wiring.

Then you already have extra wires for the future.

Andrew I took a look at the Fyrlyt website, gee talk about reverse marketing psychology whoah.

I absolutely loved the Low Voltage brand I got Daniel Mulgo to get me in. It was about a 30,000 lumens light bar and it was phenomenal.

Wasn't cheap but geez it lit up well

I think it will suit the white lights if D4 better as well. Cheers.

The GBP might be coming down now that UK have left the EU.

This could be good for us buying products out of UK.

They have nothing to fall back on, no mining no Industry no nothing, oh I forgot they have Sharia law so theoretically they will no longer have to pay tax, oh hang on I'm getting mixed up, that doesn't apply to Anglo's only the minority.

Ah well nonetheless, GBP comes down for dollar to dollar and then we go shopping. Prospeed gear, wheels, you name it here we come.
