Must admit yours is the first one I've seen with the full length Front Runner rack on their new mounting system. Personally, I prefer their old mounting system. It might be slightly higher (that suits me, as it leaves me enough room for their s/s camping table under the rack), but the legs and general support system is far less "bulky" on the old system - especially the front legs.

You have the same ladder as I've got - works well with the Front Runner rack and, at least in my opinion, looks much better than the other style I've seen which has a lower step to the right of the number plate.

One thing that I can say about the Front Runner racks is that they are bloody strong. I have had some very heavy loads on mine, including using the rack and the air suspension to lower a heavy roller door from its mount at my son's place to replace the motor / gearbox on it, and then raise the entire assembly back up onto its mounts.

I've also hit the underside of the office building I was working at in Perth a while back - hard. (I was distracted and raised rather than lowered the suspension as I was coming around the corner ). Knocked a large chunk of concrete out of the building, and there is still a scrape mark on top of the rack as evidence of where I hit - but other than cosmetic, no damage done to the rack or the car.
    Cheers .........

Wish i had a decent enough carport to do that Scott. Mines made out of steel box tube, wouldn't trust hanging anything on it.

A lot of personal preferences on the looks department between roof racks, I have the full length new Front Runner but don't mind the Rhino either. Definitely love the new mounting rails. Solid as hell.

I was told we can still fit the S/S table under our new ones Babs. I just can't justify the cost of it...

Looking at the photos of Babs' rack, I'd say you would be able to fit the table under there. The rack is not as low as I had been lead to believe - not really a lot of difference in height from the old mounting system by the look of those pics. It was Steve at Lifestyle 4WD who told me that the table wouldn't fit under the new rack (he supplied and fitted the rack on my D4.

The asking price for the genuine Frontrunner table and mounting slides is a bit steep. I got a very good deal on mine through the local ARB store up here - they have the same table under the roofrack on their County. It wouldn't be difficult to make up your own slides and table though - nothing to it.
    Cheers .........
