Or more specifically, the Logan council area, for the Brisbane show.
I'd forgotten, as my son's school is in the Brisbane council area, which is taking it's holiday on Wednesday.....

Public Holidays really annoy me. I'm retired and don't get any. :p:p:p
Martin
But they were open today! The guy behind the counter didn't laugh when he told me that Express Post to your neck of the woods wouldn't get there for a few days, and I replied "it doesn't get anywhere in less than a few days any more".
I think I upset him.
It arrived today thanks Dave
Swapped them over and went for a run and the D3 is definitely quicker off the mark off idle. Previously it was at least 1 sec to get up to nearly 2000 RPM which is when it really started accelerating. Now it is less than 0.5 sec (by my reckoning) and moving from the start rather than waiting to get to 2000 revs. That certainly makes a difference in traffic.
I took the attached photos before I put Dave's unit (on the right) in. It is the first time I have seen one as there does not seem to be any photos of the internals on the internet. Given my sensor is not working is it worth me trying to move the sensor to position it similar to the one in Dave's?
Great to hear that it makes things better!
It actually looks like Dave's one has been knocked, and yours looks to be "correct". The problem with yours is probably that you either have a broken contact or corrosion or similar in the air mass measuring circuit - that sensor you see there is just the inlet air temperature sensor.
Thanks Justin. I wasn't sure if the position of the head of the probe was significant having only ever seen mine up until today.
