That lack of "lard" does show in the quality and thickness of materials and metal compared to the D3/D4. In terms of chassis and body strength, the D3/D4 is waaaaaay ahead of the Territory. The seats feel a bit thin, the fixtures and fittings a bit plasticky.
But, you are buying something that costs half to two thirds of the D3/D4, so I think it's reasonable value!
