    Caravan rear camera for D4

Had a quick look to see if there were any posts about this topic hence the query. My 2010 HSE D4 has the in-dash audio / satnav system, am I able to hook up a rear view camera on the caravan, i.e. is there an AV input available? or should I look at mounting a separate unit / screen on the dash / windscreen? If it's the latter, is there a preference / suggestion for one brand?

There is a detailed write-up on how to instal a switched feed into the existing wiring so you can bring the caravan camera into the reversing camera feed instead - maybe search for switching camera

Hi, I got a Land Rover Integrated Multimedia Unit installed from Advanced ICE..it allows you to have additional cameras installed. When I have the caravan hooked up and the camera cable plugged in it automatically senses it when I put the car in reverse. When I don't have the caravan hooked up it reverts back automatically to the OEM reverse camera.
The unit also allows you to switch between cameras on the go all through the OEM screen and functions. It is very handy and all through the LR functions and systems.
