The LRA ones were advertised as $700 inc labour for the full arm replacement. I wouldn't muck around tooling up and doing it myself for that kinda money...

    Sadly not many people have!

    But there's f-ing tight and there's 275nm.
And nobody I've asked to do something up has got to 275nm before they stopped LRA LCA bushes

I ended up going to 210Nm (the max on mine) and then getting the mechanic to tighten up. They need a wheel alignment after anyway so they loosen them then too, then re tighten.

Yeah - I was lucky - did mine and marked exact location of bolts when removing. Refitted to same position.

I did the same to get me by - 210nm, and then breaker bar with extension... I can dead lift 205kg so pretty sure the bolts reached required torque!

At the aligner - no adjustment required LRA LCA bushesLRA LCA bushes

I haven't paid close attention when I've had wheel alignments but don't recall seeing the guy re-torqueing bolts with a large torque wrench or breaker bar. Should I be worried that the arm bolts have not been properly torqued? It may have happened but my recollection is that everything was done back up quite quickly after the alignment adjustments, so not sure.

    Cheers,

As they only do the fronts they only have to do four bolts which take at most a couple of minutes each, you may not have noticed.

It would be a worry though if they didn't torque them to spec.
