I have a set of front arms here from when I installed new LCAs. I could be convinced to mock up a set of mandrels on the lathe to press out the bushes. They would then be available here if anyone wanted to drop by and press out and install new bushes into their arms. You would have to listen to me dribble on about Landrovers though.... I spoke to Paul Redding (owner) about them and he was happy to stick by the warranty no matter where sold. To be honest just to have a product someone has the confidence to put a decent warranty on these speaks volumes so I thought I'd give it a try.
I ordered 2 x these RYG000440 (shock absorber bolts) as mine have been removed several times now and torqued back up so thought it was a good idea, the rest come with the kit,
Ordered last night, will arrive by Thursday according to DHL.$680 delivered although without the 2 bolts would be a lot closer to $600.
You can order the bushes separately and the meyle bush is nearly half the cost of the lemforder, they supply all 3 types...
The main thing holding me back from DIY is time, need this finished within the next 7 days or we can't go touring over Xmas!!

Yes... it’s very variable.

I tow a lot and have 110k on my rotors and pads... others just running around the city and suburbs have gotten sub 30k.
Everyone perceives their driving style differently. So what one considers normal may be extreme in one direction or another to somebody else.
An example was a trip to Maralinga along the rail corridor. I was at the rear of our group stopping for photos etc and the group kept on going.
A call came over the radio that up ahead track condition was horrible and they were down to 60km/h and struggling.
I caught up to the group cruising at a leisurely 100km/h and didn’t find the track a problem.. a perception thing, and a testament to the ease with which the D4 handles poor track surface. (I even phoned another forum member to say gday whilst this was happening).
The end result of that sort of driving and several similar trips (I also used my vehicle on site at the mines for a bit) was 80k out of the bushes.
I accepted that as reasonable for the hard life and the NVH benefit meant I stayed with Lemforder at replacement.
I was stunned at how much quieter it became when they were replaced..
If its anything like when I went over in July its not much of a test. Fairly good condition road on the WA side - The NT side is another story howeverQuote:
