I spoke with my Boy today.
He is doing Exams over the next 2 weeks.
He may be able to do something after that.He has a knee injury so may not be able to go mining for a few weeks.
He wants to make the job easier,a lathe and steel is out,too expensive(time consuming).
He may be able to get them made in china, perhaps aluminium.
He also mentioned using industrial plastics.
Any thoughts????
Also who wants one???,no commitment at this stage, just getting ideas on numbers.Probably 50 again would be a target,I can hold a few spares.
I do have a list somewhere on the table here with those who missed out last time.

Hope this helps - Please note I do not have micrometer.
The one I bought off Andrew sits on a Kincrome jack. The 'head' on that is 30mm in diameter and it is 10mm high (to the top of the knurling).
The adaptor is 50mm wide across the base and the base is 14mm high (external). The space in the bottom of the adaptor to receive the top of the jack is a millismidgen over the 30mm it needs to sit on top of the jack.
The locating knob is 10 or 11mm high and 16mm diameter.
Cheers, Dale

Recess depends on jack - the Omega jack needs a larger base diameter...
Not sure what OD the omega jacking piece is.....
Attached is a sketch of the one I'm getting knocked up....the jacking piece measures 32mm. He doesn't want a grub screw.
I will post up if I have any left over. Early bird catches the worm
