Have you considered having original rims painted. Did that to the stock rims on my l322 and the look the business.![]()

Full gloss black also available.. I went machine finish edge as it has ended up scratched a fair bit and isn't very visible in the mill finish..

When I had it quoted was $90-110 a wheel
Powder coating isn't a good idea - if it scratches it will peel..
Assume that is 2pack and baked instead then?

I did a set of D2 wheels at home, sanded, primed and painted rattle can Satin Black then rubbed and clear coated..
The more time you take the better the finish...
They're holding up very well under my Sons use (which has a lot less concern for clean lines and lack of scratching)

If there is one single thing i'd change on mine for looks only it would be the originals painted black. Everything accept for the wheels is black or gold...
Five of these rocked up on the front verandah today. 17x8.5 inch Fuel Vector, BMW stud pattern. Will see what they look like once they have some tyres on them.
