Thread: someone with CCF tool and no proximity camera's (camera under side mirrors)

my 2011 d4 doesn't have the proximity cameras or forward facing cameras and as such when you are on the main menu screen there is no option for 'cameras' like I have seen on some others

What I'm curious about is, if you 'enable' proximity cameras then does this option appear on this screen? or would it be pointless buying mirrors with cameras as regardless i wont have the option to turn them on from the main screen?

You would require the surround camera module to which all the cameras attach then the rear camera may not be compatible with the surround module.
