Turn ignition on FIRST not third is the way I read it..
Ignition on is dash lights on and engine not running I would of thought.
The fact it was listed twice and written two different ways made me think it was a different step.
Regardless, I appreciate everyone's input but I have tried both ways with no luck.
I'll take it to landrover and get them to clear it but surely there is a way to do
It yourself, when these cars are 20years old everyone will home service them and no one is going to want that message constantly on their dash!
Luke, whoever edited your CCF for the headlight upgrade would be able to reset the service reminder.

Yep i appreciate that was always an option but I was just hoping for a home solution as they would charge me for it plus it is a little inconvenient for both parties for such a simple task.
I called Land Rover a moment ago and it sounds like they will do it free of charge this time but I'm still convinced there is a way as it seems strange they would give this ability to only some D4's but not mine.
Anyway we can end the thread here but if I find a way I'll make sure to post it up!
Reminds me of another thing that randomly doesn't work on mine.
It's called Follow Me Home Rear Lights
Holding down a fob button will turn on the headlights and another press will turn on the reverse lights if FMHRL is enabled.
The headlight one works but the reverse doesn't, just turns off the headlights.
Would be quite handy if wanting some light behind the vehicle.
Doesn't work for mine and apparently not for MY15 either.
It is enabled in the CCF so it's not that.
Anyway, maybe this service reset thing disappeared with the push button starter.

Scott
