    Is it only me that thinks we already get a great deal of power of these 3.0 l diesel engines and pushing them further will just reduce the life span and therefore the reliability of the engine?

    I for one am very happy with the performance of my SD3.0 as it is!

    Agree. Taking the TDV6 up to SDV6 isn't a bad thing though..

    And a slightly better map of the SDV6 makes it even nicer to drive..

    I certainly wouldn't be going for anything like the Kangaroo tune if I wanted longevity.

    That's what I'd like to do one day maybe. I hope BAS gets there with it. Strange that LR would revert to an ECU that's easier to access but that doesn't help me.

    Hi fellas.
    Any news yet re 3 litre Disco 4 flashes from Pete at BAS?
    I’d like to do my 2013 HSE.

    Defender:LS3 6.2 V8 and 6 Speed Auto, ARB BP51 shocks, springs, Damper, Gwyn Lewis running gear, Superior Engineering Radius arms, Long Ranger tank, Recaros', Dual battery, LED lighting, ARB Lockers etc etc.

    Hi mate, personally, i wouldn't be remapping these if towing big loads.
    The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
    The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

    😯. Mostly I don't want to see you having to pull manifolds and replace broken studs etc etc, and worse still maybe even a turbo failure. The EGT is stratospheric with these... it's stopped me from remapping mine as yet... I feel I have quite enough Nm and Kw on tap already!
