That's interesting. MY13 HSE has the button and the touchscreen to turn sensors & camera on or off. I didn't realise that some models had no button for the rear sensors.

Thanks to everyone who posted yesterday evening. I was out farewelling a colleague after 21 years in the Air Force. We were concerned if we didn't send him off properly he may come back! [wink11]
You lucky button people. I tried pushing the button to the right of the hazard lights button (see picture below) — but no joy.
I think in order of my capability:
a. buy a light bar
b. build a "dummy trailer plug with a resistive load" if mr_squiggle is kind enough to explain how [bighmmm]
c. 'build' a "small tail light bar on the bottom of the rack, where 'build' means same as a. above!

Happy to explain if it helps.
One other thing you could try is covering the sensor.
In a thread a long while ago people were having trouble with wheel carriers setting off the sensors. One solution was to cover half the sensor and turn it so that it didn't "see" the wheel carrier.

You can "shadow" the sensors by sticking trimmed down plastic floor protector dots (the ones you put on the ends of chair legs etc.) over the sensors. Bunnings sell 19mm clear dots which I use to shadow the Mitch hitch on my D3 Madico 19mm Clear Round Protec Surface Savers - 10 Pack | Bunnings Warehouse
Cut them in half, or smaller and adjust until you get the right amount of cover. I didn't do it myself yet but I'm thinking of fine tuning my covers (I currently have them cut in half) by using repositionable duct tape to make the adjustment and then trimming new covers to match.
