    Brake Fluid Flush

    Gday All,

Has anyone done their own brake fluid flush ? I know I did it a couple of times on the D2 but there was a easy way linking a on/off switch to the fuse .

Anyone done similar with the D3 ?

    Cheers Ean

IIDTool now offers a bleed function to assist the process. Haven't used it yet.

I never bothered to check if my Hawkeye has the bleed function - but highly unlikely.

Nanocom had a brilliant flush for the D2,made it so easy to clean the brake fluid at every service.

The D2 and the Nanocom were perfect for bleeding/flushing the brake fluid solo.

But I have not seen the same in the IID tool or MSV2, they seem to have a bleed function but the instructions tell you to bleed the brakes in the standard way (2 people ) instead of using the ASB pump? Am I missing something?

The IID function seems to have been designed for part replacement (such as replacing the ABS servo), however even if you bleed normally, this function should feature in the process to ensure the fluid in the abs servo is cleared and refreshed.
