How many times now in Mitch Hitch threads have you made false claims and had them proven wrong?
It's fine if you don't see the value in something, other people do. But stop making unsubstantiated statements with no basis in reality.

For me, I wouldn't pay $700 for the Mitch given how little i tow. But i got one second hand at pretty much change over with my D4 towbar. I reckon its a great option and if i towed a lot, i could definitely see the value in paying more.

And by the way, they are designed and made in Australia. :bat:

The interesting thing is that I need a hitch thats a little bit higher than the standard d3 hitch (aside from the obvious design fopars). I have a racing kart trailer that has a drop axle so that it is lower than standard so by my guestimations,, after having seen d3 and d4 hitches side by side, I feel the d4 hitch will be perfect.
If it wasnt I'd make do till I could afford the Mitch Hitch. I am in no doubt that a lot of stuff out of a certian country is shyte and I would never risk anyones safety by using these knock offs. They are masters at chrome plating plasticine unless adequate qc protocols are in place.
So buy Aussie cause we still make some of the best stuff out there.

Well there yer go! Something made here in Oz for a change and I'm glad to hear it. And I did say "probably" made in Asia, I'm pretty sure I didn't and never have said they were definitely made there as I didn't know.

Here is the Mitch hitch coupling level at the lowest possible setting with normal suspension height. Turn the tongue 180 and you get another 60mm.

Of all the extra bits and bobs I've added to the D3 the Mitch Hitch will probably be the only thing I unbolt and put on a D4 when I upgrade.
