MR auto change that plastic part every coolant flush,and the float on the coolant reservoir,as it has a habit of failing as well.The parts are cheap.

I intend to do my coolant this service interval so I'll take the advice and get one and do it then too. I did also look at doing the hoses too but there are so many and they are so damn expensive I think I'll save that for its 10th anniversary.
