Hummm,, looks good Murray, just wondering if you have a pic from the rear "square on" to see how the lights situation looks. I hate the little rear light I have on mine. I have toyed with the idea of making a longer arm to suit mine, but unsure if it would help fix the sensor problem.

I have just completed installation on my 2017 TDV6!
    Easy to follow instructions.
Don't have extensive workshop/tools, just range of spanners, sockets, angle grinder, cordless drill and old tap set - a bit fiddly to get into some spots to tighten bolts.
Purchased cutting disc for angle grinder and 12/13mm bits and carried out work in my carport, with D4 on ground.
    Very happy with result.
Did in a two stages, with break in between.
Could be done a lot quicker by people with better mechanical skills and equipment.
No issues with reverse sensors, obstructs small sector of reverse camera.
Previous D3 had Outback/Opposite Lock RWC. Rijidij locking system should be much easier.

    G'day Ian,
Would you be able to take a pic of your screen when in reverse and post it up so I can see just how much is obscured please? I don't really use mine for reversing, except for backing up ti the trailer.

    Cheers

    G'day Marcus,
Yes, here's a pic from the rear.

    Cheers, Murray

Unless the D4 chassis is the same as the RR Sport underneath the rear bumper there would be major redesigning required for the main mounting bracket, and even then, it's unknown if everything else would work in with the different shape of the bumper etc

Here's some pics of the reversing screen. It does impact on the R/H view a bit, but the owner of this D4 said it was not too bad.

    Cheers, Murray

    Thanks for the feedback Ian,
I'm always a little anxious when the first of a new design goes out for fitting. I put a lot of effort into writing the instructions in detail, so it's good to hear that everything has gone well.

I may be completely mad but shouldn't the spare tyre interference be on the LHS of the display screen?
