    Electric brakes

Ok I need some advice I Have a Discovery 3 2005, Ive been reading the stickies at the top about Electric brakes

I have Redarc Towpro elite to fit Can i just wire this as i have done in the past

    1. feed via a circuit breaker (so straight from battery)
    2.Earth
    3. feed from the brake switch
    4. wire straight to the back of the socket for the electric brakes

I have read the diode bit but don't truly understand it, as its always concerning the prodigy unit, Can anyone help

The diode is important. I suggest you read that bit and implement it as described in the sticky. Worked for me

As Jeff says but also don't take feed from brake switch. Sticky explains what to do for brake signal.
