Thread: D3 Subwoofer

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to tell from just looking at the tailgate whether a subwoofer is installed or not (grill, holes in carpet etc.?). I believe my HSE should have one but there are no controls on the head unit to drive it (CCF ?).

Turn the music up and you should feel/hear the bass coming from the passenger side lower part of the drop down door section. The head unit should also have a sub control option when adjusting bass treble balance fader etc.
