I can’t see why the screen matters. The module should send through the correct data for the screen if configured correctly. Can only assume it’s not working or configured or wired right.

There is no factory DAB+ module that is compatible with the 2010-2012 system in the L322, you need the in2digi D-JV-2 module.
The software in the CPLA version module (i.e. from the L405) is not compatible with the 2010-2012 models.
I've been putting together "DAB to DAB+" kits for the L322, see attached.

The small screen system does not have MOST fibre optics, so you cannot add DAB+ that way. And retrofitting the full size touchscreen to the base system with the small screen isn't really viable. I mean it can be done, but for the costs and effort involved...
Are you talking about the L322 2010-2012 or the Discovery 4 with the small screen?
Excellent info Cambo, thanks.
A guy in the UK on another forum claims he got the L405 module working in an L322 - not no-one else who has tried it agrees.
Obviously telling porkies.
The 3rd party module it is then.

just to check, I have 2010 D4 with the base level radio (small non touch screen) at this stage I'm basically stuck with it correct? And the best of getting bluetooth audio would be to sell the car and upgrade the car?
Warrzone
I fitted a 7" android unit to my 2010 and it has all the usual inputs, usb, bluetooth, etc. See this link.
Additional screen into D4 low line stereo

I am lining up the projects to make sure to make it worth your while to pull my L322 to pieces. So with respect to the in2digi d-jv-2 we need to purchase this from the guy in the UK? We add the window antenna? What fibre optic cable(s) do we need?
Regards
Craig
I have the D-JV-2 in stock here, and all the other parts needed to make a DAB+ retrofit in the L322, I have the components for all JLR models actually.
But TBH the reception down your way is basically non-existant, the Sydney broadcast drops out on the Hume Hwy around Bargo.
The DAB+ would be of use when you're in Sydney, but not in the Southern Highlands.
