Not towing, just pulled out in traffic & POP.
Contemplating going back to std tune, or asking Mark to reduce the boost a tad.
Surely autocode will have fully tested and standby their tune and compensate you fully for that $5000 repair parts and labour?

When you mod any vehicle for power, you have to expect the weakest things to let go. Plastic pressurised manifold by ford???I'd like to see you get 5k out of them.

Had a remap & EGR delete done & couldn't be happier. Hardly any lag now & just a little extra punch.

Correct, had mine done many years ago,it pulls so much better up hills as well.

A couple of weeks ago,up that new Toowoomba bypass, going west, fully loaded,it sat on Cruise,5th gear,on speed limit of 90Km/hr,didn't even bat an eyelid.

Filled up at St George,10.4l/100 for trip,so not bad, speed limit all the way, some sections 110km/hr.

I always think that the after market power tune industry is the car lovers version of street drugs. Highly desirable, very addictive but you never quite know what the seller has mixed in or changed but the buyer seems willing to give it a go regardless. Most customers are happy but a few end up in hospital or worse. Both offer no warranty for when it goes wrong ECU Remaps for D4

[QUOTE=Bendys;3036034]I had the autocode tune done on my 2010

I also had the Autocode remap done in 2017..dare I say, still on the original 2011 manifolds.
Tune requested was for touring with EGR delete.Result was noticeable in that it removed the sometime hesitation [intersections/roundabouts],gave instant boost when tramped to overtake road trains
with no discernible difference to fuel consumption. Not that I kept meticulous records!.Can't say I have ever checked the air intake for gunk...but the MAP is not gunked up.So overall was as expected.

Roo Systems "towing and economy" ecu flash tune. No hesitation at interestions, 650Nm of torque, on original manifolds and around town average of 9.6 to 10 (seen 7.6 on long highway runs no towing) running 50% worn maxxis AT980's. Pretty happy with that. No egr delete (yet), but intake relatively clean due to regular long highway runs.

Roo Systems mild tune and EGR delete. Very happy with no hesitation at roundabouts and slightly better fuel economy. 240,000km but 90% is long distance country driving and no towing.
prior to the tune replaced both maf’s and the map. The map was clogged up with carbon and was the catalyst for the delete.
