Do you recall what settings you used? Or was it done by a dealer??

That is entirely possible. Australian vehicles back in 2006 didn't need them so it is certainly possible that the right lights are not fitted. The iiD sotware does try but it just doesn't work correctly. I'll see what their support peolpe say when i get home.
Ha - I've also tried this on my D4 ('09, MY10). I thought the 'park' LED string would light up as DRL's!!!
But I could only get the low beam headlights to come on!
I've since been reliably informed on this forum (another post somewhere) that DRL's are not fitted to earlier D4's.
When the DRL setting is enabled (apparently Canadian is the right setting for Aus) - the low beam headlights will come on whenever the car is turned on. As you would expect...
Have fun!

Put some Osram LEDriving replacement lamps in. Expensive, but gives an awesome LED DRL and an OK LED foglight. Plug and play, take out your old foglight, put these in.

What's wrong with parkers ?
Gap have given me complete access to the ccf list, so that will be a weekend project. This is a great way to learn about the tool!
No cost. Known as full CCF access. Also ask for full Live Values access. Gap do not guarantee that you won't damage something because they cannot possibly test everything you may change.
