had a quick look today at engine bay. just to clarify could someone outline which hose we are talking about.
pic 1 - is where mine is rubbing on a smaller hose at rear of engine
pic 2 - where is this hose that needs the cover cutting
pic 3 - looking down on the other hose clip described above for the pulley, which bracket please
pic 4 - intercooler hose, this is not the culprit ?

The cover that needs trimming for the top radiator hose is for the TD or SD V6. I'm not sure what motor is in your photo

that explains it, mines the smaller 2.7L TdV6 not the 3.0L engine. hence the differences.
the rear hose is the culprit for the 2.7L it would seem as shown in my pic. cheers
