I rang the technical department at NSW RMS and they were clear that you needed to change the rego as soon as you take the seats out. Im not prepared to take the risk with insurance etc.

I find it's better to only remove the middle and RHS second row seats. It's surprising how often you need the third seat. And you're right about the amount of room it frees up.
And certainly remove the third row seats and seatbelts. Apart from the weight, it also frees up quite a bit of room.
Talk to your insurer, I have a D3 7 seater that was incorrectly registered as a 5 seater since new. My insurer told me I didn’t need to change the rego as they didn’t see it as an issue. They may look at it differently if it was a 5 seater that was converted to a 7 seater.
There's a Nissan Titan for $110 000 on Sandgate rd Virginia.
For such a massive truck, the Titan's payload is a bit anaemic at not much over 700kg.....
The Dodge brothers (and not extension, Dodge motors) have historically been known for products producing great amounts of power for tragically brief serviceable lives. When they started offering a low torque diesel option via the Cummings Powerplant, the rams began to gain some respect for longevity and serviceability, but as someone whose grandfathers, father, uncle and cousins all worked for Detroit companies I would never buy a new Dodge for the expectations noted.

A Nissan Titan is actually built on the same chassis and body as a Navara , not sure which model but the Titan just has a wider axle at the rear and longer arms on the front to widen the track. New panels of course but the actual interior etc is basically the same size. A Navara can be built into a Titan by fitting the engine and other requirements as they just bolt in.
