Extended Warranty - Anyone had experience with LR or Third party?

Control arms were done by an indy and compressor by LR dealer. They call the insurer and quote my policy, do the work, I pick up the car. Easy as.
I have the car leased and the cost was bundled into that. There are exclusions around wear parts and you have to have records of keeping maintenance to schedule.

my wife has a RR Evoque, with extended warranty (purchased when the car was new). She has just had the main oil seal replaced which was a big job with associated cost. The policy paid up no problems, the car is outside of new car warranty.

I have an extended warranty on my 2013 Disco with the Australian Warranty Network, covers everything under the manufacturers warranty. 3 years for around $1700. Had the central locking in the back seat go approx 60000k mark. Replaced under extend warranty around $500 repair. This week I’m getting the compressor replaced under the warranty at 75000ks, repair cost was $2300. So I’d say it’s now paid for itself.

I had the same issue however when i asked them what the "expected life was" under fair wear and tear, given LR warrant them for 100K, they still refused to pay but LR covered it as the car only had 70K on it........even though it was 4 1/2 years old.

I think if people argued this one on the bushes, they could not refuse a claim if pushed. For me i was grateful LR sorted it.

I tried. It was point blank refused. I even showed other posts from the forum and Facebook of them being covered under warranty. It all seems a bit random to me.

Just had my LCA bushes replaced under extended warranty through Allianz. They refused at first but the dealer rang back the next day and rephrased the request and they were done. Allianz wouldn't budge on the drivers armrest falling backwards or the upper glove box handle silver covering splitting - they said it was trim and not covered.

It is depends on how dealer interpret the fault as I keep geting braking noise, but they found nothing and cost me $200. However, I heard the noise again, no sure if it is the reason my disc brake run low.
