    Rear Wheel hanger

If you have a rear wheel hanger fitted , check the bearings .I have had a top bearing collapse recently PITA it is get the old cups out .So every couple of years check them and repack them will make the job so much easier .

Is a "rear wheel hanger" an RWC by another name? If so, because it moves so infrequently I wouldn't think it needs more than an initial greasing. I've had 2 (or is it 3 ) Rijidig carriers and have never had a problem with bearings and even on lesser RWCs from overseas that has never given a problem.
    Cheers.

Doesn’t move many times in rotation but I guess could get pounded on rough roads specially if there’s any tolerance to vertical movement at the latch.

Mines squeaky, sounds dry as a bone, it's on the to-do list.
