    I bought a complete unit with battery and chip from China (eBay) for about as much as just a battey. I have gap diagnostic tool to code them and my other keys are falling apart.
    I haven't got them yet but will report back when I do.

    If you're careful you can separate the two fob halves and replace the battery, programming will not be lost, but remember that afterwards it will no longer be waterproof.
    i swap keys every month to keep them charged..
