Thanks Ralph1Malph,
I've ordered my replacement set (Superpro Poly) for my D4 (32 F and 22 R) should be here any day now. I was wondering about the access to the rear, and how to release the torsion on the sway bar.
IMHO the clunks Ive got in the D4 are all related to the SB, its a place to start anyway. I've had the front lower wishbones replaced (a very common / known issue on the D4) with the upgraded D4 MY2016 units
I was also going to replace the rear links with HD adjustable ones, but the budget this month hasn't stretched that far.
Have you got any photos to share please? Your tips are very useful - thanks.
Once Ive done mine I will try to post some photos...
No torsion when sitting level...
May twist up or down slightly but that is all..
Hi Ralph,
Relative mechanical novice here however I am experiencing a clunking noise coming from the rear left corner of my Disco 3 when driving over pumps, uneven surfaces etc. It seems to clunk more when going side to side rather then virtically over these surfaces
From what I've read so far I believe it’s the rear sway bar bushings and am wondering if there is a relatively easy way to confirm this before committing to the fix
Cheers
