    Hiya Scott,

They’re a great tyre. I’ve been really impressed.
They are noisy though, and although I use them as a daily I’m not sure I’d do it for really long hauls (remember a run to town is 4 hours for me)..

Handle really well on Dirt, Sand, Rock and both wet and dry bitumen. Was surprised at the wet road capability, it’s very reassuring all things considered.

KO2s aren’t any better than most ATs in mud...

Did you modify your brake calipers or are there other rim options for us (2016 D4 3.0 TDV6) apart from compomotive or tuffant steelies?

Tombie has a 2.7 - so smaller calipers from factory.

I'm running Kuhmo MT51 265/60R18 on my Compomotives. They call them an "aggressive AT" but have basically the same tread pattern as the Achilles Desert Hawk MT. I've done maybe 7,000km on them so far - best test was Vic High Country where they performed really well (except on ice). They are a tad noisy on road although I didn't really think too much of it until I put the road tyres back on and realised how much quieter it was!

I’m hoping to get my new Tuffants delivered next week, but not sure whether to go the 265/60 or 265/65 tyre size. Does the 65 rub or need any body alterations? Is the 60 good enough all rounder, I do a fair bit of beach driving, but seem to get by now on my 20” 50 profiles aired down.
