42 F & 45 R PSI from memory. Dropped back to 35 & 37 PSI.

Despite only doing about 5-10,000km one has developed a whiring noise like a failing bearing. It’s the tyre it disappears when I swap or rotate tyres.

I generally change over to my 2nd set of wheels with 19” Winrun cheapo HTs when 18s are not required. The cheapo Winruns were supposed to be an interim tyre. But I rate them on road and gravel tracks. Never had a flat, slipping or noise issue.

I would say the initial pressures are too high

And I would rather a Tyre with good grip and performance rather than huge kilometres. Normally move my tyres on when they are down to 60 percent

So after doing some mild off-roading the other day and bending my side steps, i'm thinking a road set with standard tyres, I picked up a set of 4 mags and near new tyres for $500, and have a set of play tyres as well. I reckon a set of 17's with some larger than standard tyres, maybe muddies, plus the lift rods and it will be nearly unstoppable! [smilebigeye]

Motivation was also watching the youtube vid of Monkey gum trail with the D2, D3 (looks same as mine) and a Patrol. Would like to do that track.

Yep, I have the GOE Rocksliders and the GOE Lift Rods (and bought the GOE Air Compressor Cover and did 3 days training with Gordon from GOE too)...... I installed all the parts myself and they work great, though I have to admit, I've only ever used the Lift Rods just the once.
