I have since fitted these and have only done minimal KM and all on-road, however they are just as quiet as the Pirelli Scorpion Zero's they have replaced.

    Hi All,

Just fitted Mickey Thompson 265/50/20 Deegan 38 replacing the original 255/50/20.

With the previous tyre, I used to fill around 35 PSI. Can somebody comment on the recommended tyre pressure for the 265/50/20 tyres.

The wheel alignment was performed at a tyre shop in ringwood which is recommended by a Landrover mechanic. When I was there, I saw other Landrover vehicles. However, as the vehicle was slowly moving towards the left I took the vehicle again and now it is better but still it either pulls towards the left or towards the right if I am on the centre of the road.

I mentioned that the suspension needs to be locked and need to be in tight tolerance mode and was told that it is not required as they do it all the time. I saw some comments in the forum that TTM is mandatory but would like to understand if anybody has any experience in getting the wheel alignment done without locking the suspension.

    Thanks!

From memory, it's in the workshop manual. Got to assume LR put it there for a reason. I had a problem with pulling to the left after a wheel alignment at a place used by my dealer following clipping a slow down island as I thought I may have caused a problem. Took it to an LR indy for a fresh alignment as part of a mid year service and asked for it to be in Tight Tolerance Mode. Ran straight as a die after that and no trouble since.

Thanks Martin. I might need to take it somewhere where they do TTM.

I have been told that as the Tyre size is not standard this could occur, but I don’t think that should case a problem.

If you've got a GAPIID tool you can do it yourself and reset after they've done the alignment.
